I am Dr. Marcano-Davis, a Connecticut-based licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health. I hold a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Duquesne University. Through extensive studies and training, my approach to psychotherapy is deeply rooted in existential/humanistic and Buddhist philosophies that include an array of treatment modes such as psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, narrative, insight-oriented, and mindfulness-based stress reduction therapy.

My approach to therapy is integrative and will help you reach your potential and thrive fully as you develop effective coping skills and new perspectives. I offer psychotherapy services in English and in Spanish to individuals seeking support and guidance to alleviate and overcome problems related to stress, anxiety, grief, depression, or difficult life-adjustment times. Each therapy is individualized to meet each person's lived experiences, specific struggles, and goals.

Speaking Engagements & Workshop Presentations

My experience with speaking engagements dates back to my days as a Professor of Psychology and co-founder of a nonprofit organization for Latina youth. Whether in English or Spanish, I find motivational speaking engagements as well as psychoeducational presentations incredibly rewarding. I am available for small or large group functions. The array of expertise topics includes Clinical Psychology (depression, anxiety), women's mental health, conflict resolution, developmental/parenting issues, philosophical applications to mental health, wellness lifestyle, and contemporary topics relevant to mental health.
